We made our way south to the island of Djerba and broke up the three-hour drive with visits to some of the filming locations used in Monty Python’s Life of Brian. The hotel is currently closed (and likely to be demolished in the coming years) so we didn’t bother to stop in, but since it has figured into so much of Star Wars urban legend it was nice to wave hello from the A1 highway. Its pearls paid for the upgrades on the Jewel. " I've been to Tatooine, actually, and bagged a krayt dragon there.
